Keena is the author of AFROdisiacs (2019) , a collection of short pieces about Black love, and The Colors of My Boudoir (2015), a novel on a woman's journey finding love. Keena is also a best selling author as a contributing author to several anthologies.
Keena is a doctoral research candidate studying the Africana diaspora in the United States and Internationally. She studies the connections and similarities among Black communities and lectures on Africana literature, philosophy, and history.
Keena is a freelance writer that has written for news outlets such as Boardhawk, Teach Colorado, Stand for Children, My Black Colorado, and the Tennessee Tribune. She also is a frequent guest on radio shows and podcasts!
